Born in Fresno California on June the eighth 1961 to Raymond and Louise Granum. Lance was trained early in carpentry techniques by his maternal grandfather. Lance is an avid bowler who started bowling at age 6 and currently bowls in 2-4 leagues a season he is the ceo of Bowling is my bag . com http://www.bowlingismybag.com He began his formal training in the trades in 1973 at Fort Miller JR. High School in Fresno ca. Transferring to Clovis High School in 1977 where he continued to learn industrial education. Much of his formal education in shop came from Paul Mennucchi on the Clovis High campus. Lance formed The Old Hippy Workshop with Daniel Carter in 1996 and This Old Workshop in 2000.
