Abscence Of You

What I felt this day.........09-10-00

Strongly, I cry for your presence
But you disappear.
And I reach for your heart
But you pull away.
And I dream of your touch
But you slowly fade.
Are you afraid?
Are you weak?
Are you not aware?
I am already battered with all these feelings
Swelling up inside of me
But I can do nothing except-
Wait for the sun to rise, hoping to see you
Wait for the moon to shine, hoping to dream of you
Wait for a change of mind, a change of time, a change of place-
That you might sway in my direction
Without fear
Without regret
Without pain
Then, a "you and I" can finally exist.
